I used to get anxious and the only way I knew how to deal with it was by harming myself. When i started going to Drama Medic for weekly sessions it helped me better understand the roots of my anxiety. Not only that, through the sessions we explored different ways to help me deal with it so I didn’t have to keep hurting myself. I wish to thank DramaMedic for the constant support and guidance!
I was constantly picked on by the boys in my class and felt like a freak constantly. I didn’t understand why they would constantly make fun of me and why they couldn’t just leave me alone! I was embarassed to tell anyone as complaining would just make me more lame. I started to have weekly sessions with DramaMedic. I was reluctant at first as I did not want to talk to anyone about this. But she did not force me to speak. She let me be and was only constantly there to support me. She let me choose what to do and when I wanted to do it, never pushing me more than I wanted to. She helped me gain my confidence and realise there’s no weakness in asking for help. Thank you so much DramaMedic
I had been struggling with anger management issues, and my family’s constant pressure to see someone about it just made me more embarrassed to acknowledge or deal with the problem. DramaMedic's place came like a godsend to me. I felt like I was learning about and doing drama for fun, and didn’t even realize how powerful it was in helping me deal with my problems.
DramaMedic has such a delicate and fun way of dealing with kids. They don’t feel under scrutiny at all, and open up and share their deepest troubles with her as part of games and activities. As a child psychologist at xyz school, I have always valued collaborating with her in working with difficult children facing a range of psychological issues.
